Splenic hematoma as a consequence of pneumoperitoneum

Abstract: Splenic injury is a rare but serious complication of bariatric surgical procedures. Given that the need for dissection of the gastrosplenic ligament during bariatric surgical procedures, splenic injury is not unfathomable.
