“…Treatment has centred on emollients and keratolytics such as salicylic acid with variable results. Other authors have reported clinical improvement with lactic acid in a moisturizing base (4), tar preparations, topical corticosteroids and topical retinoids (8). The lesions in the presented patient failed to respond to emollients, topical corticosteroids and a trial of topical retinoids, but now appear to be spontaneously regressing across the trunk with no therapy and favourable cosmetic outcome.…”
