Spinal Cord Infarction and Patent Foramen Ovale: Is There a Link

Abstract: Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is an uncommon but important cause of acute myelopathy. Nevertheless, contrary to cerebral stroke, the discussion about paradoxical embolism as a cause of cryptogenic SCI remains dubious.
