There have been reported only 9 cases of the so-called third type of giant perimedullary pseudoaneurysms with AVF (table 1) and none with a familial basis [3,5,8,13,19,20,22,29,30]. Thus our 2 patients, a brother and sister, represent the first familial incidence of this type of malformation made even more striking by the fact that the two lesions were nearly anatomically indistinguishable.…”
