Spin wave modes in magnetic nanodisks under in-plane magnetic field

Abstract: The size dependence of spin wave modes in a circular Permalloy (Py) nanodisk under an in-plane magnetic field is systematically studied by using micromagnetics simulations. We show that as the disk diameter is increased, the resonance frequency of the backward mode deceases while that of the uniform mode increases.
