Abstract:Introduction: Spiegelian hernias are rare entities in abdominal wall pathology (2%). They occur in the semilunar line described by Adriaan van den Spiegel. Klinklosch (1764) defined it as a congenital or acquired defect of the transverse abdominal aponeurosis junction with the Douglas arch.
