Sphingosine-1-phosphate induces pro-remodelling response in airway smooth muscle cells

Abstract: BackgroundIncreased proliferation of airway smooth muscle (ASM) cells leading to hyperplasia and increased ASM mass is one of the most characteristic features of airway remodelling in asthma.
