Spheroplasts preparation boosts the catalytic potential of a terpene cyclase

Abstract: Squalene-hopene cyclases (SHCs) are a highly valuable and attractive class of membrane-bound enzymes as sustainable biotechnological tools to produce aromas and bioactive compounds at industrial scale.
