Spherical vs. Granular Immobilization Support Selection and Performance on an Optical Flow Cell Immunosensor Based on the Fluorescence of Cyanine‐5

Abstract: A spherical porous glass support Trisoperl (TRISO) with four pore diameters (ø 47.8; 55.9; 102.6, and 108.8 nm) was characterized and selected for application in an optical flow cell immunosensor, in comparison with controlled pore glass (CPG). The TRISO support was functionalized with aldehyde and isothiocyanate (-NCS) groups to attach bovine serum albumin and alkaline phosphatase (AP).
