Abstract:Spermatological characteristics of the troglotrematid digenean Nephrotrema truncatum, a parasite of Crocidura russula, have been investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy. The ultrastructural study reveals that the mature spermatozoon of N. truncatum exhibits many ultrastructural characters previously described in most gorgoderoideans.
