“…Hetero aromatics Carbon–Hydrogen (C–H) vibrations were observed in 3100–3000cm −1 [ 36 , 37 ] range. C–H stretching vibrations were found experimentally at 3107, 3058, 3041,2928, 2870, 2750cm −1 in FT-IR and 3062, 3040, 3020, 2873, 2767cm −1 in FT-Raman spectra.…”

“…The incorporation of SQ into the cr(PVA/Ch) mats was confirmed by ATR-FTIR spectroscopy ( Supplementary Material , Figure S4c ). A new band at 1500 cm −1 characteristic of the stretching vibrations of the SQ ring [ 54 ] (for ATR-FTIR characteristic bands of SQ, see Supplementary Material ) was detected. The bands corresponding to SO 2 stretching vibrations and SOH bending vibrations of the sulfo group of SQ in the spectrum of the cr(PVA/Ch)/SQ mat ( Supplementary Material , Figure S4c ), which were observed in the SQ spectrum at 1038 cm −1 and 1177 cm −1 ( Supplementary Material , Figure S4a ), were shifted to a higher wavenumber by 9 cm −1 and by 23 cm −1 , respectively.…”

“…There was no significant change noticed in the chemical descriptors due to halogen substitutions in the parent molecule (Tables 6.1 and 6.2). Molar refractivity (MR) is a term used in structure property activity and is given as MR = 1.333παN, where α is the polarizability and N is the Avogadro number [37]. For the title compound, MR value is 109.16, which gives the binding nature of fenuron and can be used for the cure of different diseases [38].
