Spectrophotometric Determination of Procainamide by Charge-Transfer Complexation

Abstract: A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of procainamide (PA) in pure and pharmaceutical formulations. The proposed method is based on the formation of charge-transfer complex between the drug and 1-chloro-2, 4-dinitrobenzene (CDNB).
