Abstract:Simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric methods for the determination of trace amounts of iron (II) and iron (III) were developed based on complex formation between 5-(4-Ethylphenyl azo )2-Hydroxybenzaldehyde oxime reagent with iron (II) and iron (III) in acidic medium.
