Azo-ligand-(HL)([4-((2-hydroxyquinolin-3-yl)diazenyl)-N-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl)benzenesulfonamide] ) , (2- hydroxy quinolin derivative),reacts with the next metal ions (Cr (III), Fe (III),Co (II) and Cu(II)) forming stable complexes with unique geometries such as(tetrahedral for bothCo (II) and Cu (II), octahedral for both Cr (III) and Fe (III)). The creation of such complexes was detected by employing spectroscopic means involving ultraviolet-visible which proved the obtained geometries, Fourier transfer proved the involvement of coordinated water molecule in all complexes besides the pyrolysis (TGA & DSC) studies proved the coordination of water residues with metal ions inside the coordination sphere as well as chlorine atoms. Moreover element-micro-analysis and AAS that gave corresponding outcome with theoretically counting outcome. Magnetic quantification scan also indicates the unique geometries of complexes. The degradation of reactive oxygen entities for the compounds were estimated toward (DPPH-radical then matched to the standard-natural antioxidant, Gallic acid. The incomes display good radical degradations-activities.The lower IC50 value, the higher antioxidant activity. Depending on this conception, the order of our compounds besides Azo-species-HL is as follows: (G_A<[Co(L)(H2O)Cl]> [Cr(L)(H2O)Cl]> [Fe(L)(H2O)2Cl2]> [Cu(L)(H2O)Cl]).

In this investigation the azo dyes prepared through diazotizing 3-phenyl-5-aminopyrazole (PAP) and coupling the resulting diazonium salt with Schäffer acid [2-(3‛-phenyl-5‛-pyrazolyl azo) Schäffer acid (la)] and resorcinol [2-(3‛-phenyl-5‛ -pyrazolyl azo) resorcinol (Ib)]. These compounds are used as chromogenic reagents for the spectrophotometric determination of copper, nickel, cobalt and zinc. The conditional acid dissociation constants of these azo dyes (la, Ib) and the stability constants of its metal ion complexes have been determined by spectroanalytical methods. The molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity values of the complexes have been evaluated. The stability constants of the formed complexes have been determined. This will be the subject of future studies concerning the biotechnological applications of our results in the effort to obtain possible new anticancer drugs.

A new Coumarine derivatives azo dye; 8-(3-phenyl-5-pyrazolylazo)-7-Hydroxy-4-Methyl Coumarine were synthesized. The effect of pH on the spectra of the synthesized ligand, the chromogenic reaction and the stability constant of Co+ 2, Cu+ 2, Ni+ 2, and Zn+ 2 ion complexes with the synthesized ligand were studied and determined conductmetrically and spectrophotometrically. The optimum pH was determined for the complexes. 1:1and 2:1(L:M) stoichiometric complexes has been formed in solutions. The order of the stability constants of the complexes under study was; Co+ 2<Ni+ 2< Cu+ 2. These metal ions were determined using the ligand as indicator. The ligand can be used as acid-base indicator. The ability of controlling corrosion of carbon steel in 1M of acidic solution of hydrochloric was electrochemically proven at room temperature. The inhibition indicated with different tests including Open circuit potential (OCP), Potentiodynamic Polarization (PP) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) tests. The adsorption of inhibitor indicated from PP test followed Longmuir isotherm. Adsorption constant and Gibbs free energy were also calculated and explained.
