Abstract: While, strictly speaking, the results of this study are applicable only in the Pittsburgh area, the conclusions may be of interest to others with similar problems, working under more or less comparable conditions. There is no reason for believing the control of frequency of the Pittsburgh power supply to be unique and, accordingly, the frequency errors revealed in this study are probably representative of those to be expected in using the line
