Abstract:Downconversion processes which include visible and near-infrared luminescence at high energy excitation have been investigated in Yb 3+ /Pr 3+ doped TeO2-ZnO-BaO glasses. The decrease of the DC emission intensities of Pr 3+ ions with increasing mol% amount of Pr 3+ ions is attributed to the concentration quenching. The CIE chromaticity coordinates of the perceived emission of Pr 3+ ions shifted from orange to the red region depending on the increase in the pumping power. Consequently, Yb 3+ /Pr 3+ doped TeO2-Z… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
