Speckle Contrast Reduction through the use of a Modally-Specific Photonic Lantern in Few-Modes Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract: We demonstrate how a modally-specific photonic lantern can be used in optical coherence tomography to both reduce speckle contrast and increase signal-to-noise ratio.
