Specification and Design of Interactive Multimedia Services for Broadband Intelligent Networks

Abstract: We describe a complete methodology for the creation of interactive multimedia services (IMM) over Broadband Intelligent Networks (IN), that covers all phases from verbal description of a service up to the point when the service is ready for deployment. The paper discusses alternatives for the distribution of the service logic in the IN/B-ISDN network elements as well as the specification of the messages flows across interfaces.
