Specific features of the electronic properties of Ti50Ni50–x Cu x alloys with the shape memory effect

Abstract: The magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, and thermoelectric power of Ti 50 Ni 50 -x Cu x alloys with copper concentrations x ≤ 25 at % have been measured in the temperature range of 2-500 K. The change in the electronic band structure near the Fermi level upon thermoelastic martensitic transformations, such as B2 ↔ B19', B2 ↔ B19 ↔ B19', and B2 ↔ B19, has been considered.
