Species of the genus Phragmidium (Pucciniales) as parasites of roses (Rosa, Rosaceae) in Ukraine

Abstract:Four species of the genus Phragmidium parasitizing plants of the genus Rosa (Rosaceae) are recorded in Ukraine. Phragmidium fusiforme occurs only in the Carpathians. Phragmidium rosae-pimpinellifoliae was reported only from the Crimean Peninsula. Phragmidium mucronatum and P. tuberculatum are distributed much more widely and occur in Ukraine much more frequently.
