“…It is difficult to achieve automatic data collection in practical applications (Xu et al, 2020). Therefore, we proposed a method for dairy cow identification, in which the dairy cow target was detected by the YOLOv7 algorithm and extracted the targets' features using the imporved Resnet50 network (Zhuo et al, 2022;Wu et al, 2022;Xu et al, 2022).
