Léa Barreda,
Céline Brosse,
Stéphanie Boutet
et al.

Abstract: Diversity, functions and related enzymes of Specialized Metabolite (SM) modifications from plants and seeds of Brassicaceae are summarized in this review. A particular focus is made on SM plasticity and SM modification enzymes in seeds.

“…According to the results highlighted by the enrichment analysis and the broad interest for seed biology and quality, we will focus on phenylpropanoid (flavonoids, cinnamic acids and monolignols) and GSL metabolic categories, and on genes or enzyme categories involved in their modifications (i.e. glycosylation, methylation, hydroxylation and acylation) (Barreda et al, 2024b).…”
