Spatiotemporal hollow multi-ring optical solitons in strongly nonlocal nonlinear media
Xiaping Zhang
Abstract:Spatiotemporal optical solitons in strongly nonlocal nonlinear media (SNNM) are investigated theoretically and numerically by solving the ð3 þ 1ÞD Schrödinger equation in parabolic cylindric coordinates. The spatiotemporal optical solitons in parabolic cylindric coordinates are constructed by the Hermite-Gaussian pulses with topology charge l in the temporal domain and confluent hypergeometric beams with model number n, m in the spatial domain. The transverse field patterns of the solitons are manipulated by t… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
