Abstract:The present study aimed to investigate atmospheric optical characteristics over the Gorky and Cheboksary Reservoirs and their multi-scale temporal variations to obtain the background characteristics and to identify events involving the transfer of absorbing aerosol to the studied region in 2022–2023.
