Spatio‐Temporal Characteristics of IPDP‐Type EMIC Waves on April 19, 2017: Implications for Loss of Relativistic Electrons in the Outer Belt

Abstract: To understand the mechanism of the increased frequency of intervals of pulsations of diminishing periods (IPDP), we analyzed IPDP‐type electromagnetic ion cyclotron (EMIC) waves that occurred on April 19, 2017, using ground and satellite observations.
