“…Customizer interfaces are a way to create remixes [28], which was considered as a way to support creative practitioners in authoring immersive experiences through sampling [106]. Specific tools like SpatialProto [80], Pro-cessAR [21], ProtoAR [84], VRCeption [36], or VRFromX [47] are examples where XR is leveraged to provide an authoring environment for new, immersive environments and applications.…”

“…At this stage, the conceptual approach involves integrating research findings, interpreting data, and forming a cohesive conclusion. Researchers must ensure that the [51], [52], [39] [53], [54], [45] [46], [48], [49] [40], [55], [56] [50], [57], [58] [42], [59], [60] [61], [43] synthesis of findings is based on the conceptual framework developed earlier and is relevant to the research questions.…”

“…As reflected in an interview of 26 AR/VR designers and developers [67], the current processes of XR developments cannot effectively bring synergy between the technical AR/VR developers and content creators, while presenting limited communication channels to collect feedback from end-users. Researchers have proposed various prototyping tools to address the issue, such as SpatialProto [89], but none of the existing works, to the best of our knowledge, serves prototyping XR in empathic contexts specifically. Remarkably, the knowledge of collaborative interactions (many-to-many) and user agency also requires further research (Sections 3 and 4), and we call for diversified tools to promote the understanding of users' empathy in XR, especially when designing interaction for empathic reality requires doubled efforts compared to usual XR applications, for the investigation of both users and the Other.…”
