Abstract:Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease affecting peripheral joints and for which approximately 40% of the patients respond insufficiently to the available synthetic or biologic disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs).
