Spatial and temporal variability in distribution, diversity, and structure of the polychaete assemblages from Dakhla Bay (Atlantic coast of South Morocco)
Abstract:The polychaete assemblages at Dakhla Bay (Atlantic coast of South Morocco) were studied during spring 2013 and winter 2014 to analyse the spatial-temporal variability in diversity and community structure, as well as their relationships with the main environmental variables. 42 stations were sampled all over the bay, yielding a total of 22 species (21 in spring, 22 in winter) belonging to 16 families. The three most abundant species were Maldane sarsi (25.1%) Eunice vittata (11.1%) and Nainereis laevigata (10%)… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
