Indonesia's climate classification is divided into three rainfall patterns. The three patterns are Seasonal Pattern, Equatorial Pattern, and Local Pattern (Anti Seasonal). Flood Disaster Management based on extreme rainfall is very much needed, as the analysis was taken as a case study on January 22, 2019, a flood disaster occurred in South Sulawesi. The flood event indicated that there was heavy rain that flushed the South Sulawesi region for several days, which is classified as monsoonal rainfall. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of heavy rain with atmospheric anomalies during these events by calculating rainfall intensity to determine future flooding patterns and using the WRF model to analyze cloud distribution patterns and rainfall distribution. The method used in this research is Mononobe and Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) using the Fabric Fritsch cumulus parameterization scheme. The analysis showed that the intensity and duration of rainfall of 2, 5 10, 25, and 50 years were obtained from the Mononobe model, as well as from the atmospheric dynamics data, there was rain for 3 consecutive days caused by cumulonimbus type rain clouds. Based on the WRF model, it can be seen that the CAPE value before the onset of rain is quite significant, thus supporting the growth of rain clouds as an important variable in flood disaster management in the South Sulawesi region in particular and the tropical zone in. general. Motivation/Background: Indonesia is included in a tropical climate where extreme rainfall is important to analyze. The majority of flood disasters in the tropics occur in decades of extreme atmosphere, this is an important reason in this study. Method: The Mononobe method can be used to calculate the distribution pattern of rainfall intensity throughout 2, 5, 10, 25, and 50 years, as a prediction of future rainfall intensity patterns. The WRF model is used to calculate the cloud distribution pattern and the spatial distribution of rainfall. Results: The results of this study obtained patterns of rainfall intensity and duration of 2, 5, 10, 25, and 50 years from the Mononobe model, as well as from the atmospheric dynamics data, there was rain for 3 consecutive days caused by cumulonimbus rain clouds. The pattern of cloud distribution and rainfall at the time of the incident at the WRF model research location. Conclusions: Analysis of the distribution pattern of rainfall intensity for the periods of 2, 5, 10, 25, and 50 years, as well as the distribution pattern of clouds and rainfall, is very necessary for disaster identification, especially hydrometeorology. This is very important as a variable in flood disaster management, especially in the tropics

Much attention has been paid recently to land grabs in rural and urban areas of the global South, but relatively little attention has been paid to such activities in the third dimension-vertical space. Yet vertical space has also been increasingly colonized, as manifest in the transformation of mega-city skylines through the proliferating number and height of high-rises in both central cities and peri-urban developments. We investigate how floor area ratio policies, originally designed to control densification, have been reworked to facilitate densification through floor area uplift. Thus a tool originally developed to advance public welfare has been used to facilitate the profitability of real estate projects for developers and to benefit local governments. Taking DKI Jakarta as our case study, we sketch out the coevolution of this policy with urban regimes, focusing on the mid-2010s when compensation measures were formalized and made transparent. By using a particular project in Jakarta's central business district we show how the benefits of floor area uplift favor private sector developers over the local government. In a context of rapidly increasing land values, increasing demand for housing from an emergent middle class, and particularly the privatization of planning, this unevenness systematically favors the private sector.

The growth of urban areas dominated by residential and industrial land cover will encourage the high use of clean water and land loading (compaction due to building loads). The use of water in people's daily lives and industrial activities still relies on nature, namely in the form of groundwater or aquifers. Continuous water collection, especially in big cities in Indonesia, will have a negative impact on the environment which results in changes in the environment itself. Environmental changes due to the impact of taking water that might occur are land subsidence (LS). For this reason, this study will examine the relationship of the impact of the development of residential areas in the city of Semarang on the decline of shallow aquifer capacity (SAC) and LS.Observation of changes in KAD in this study was observed in the type of shallow aquifer using shallow wells (MAT) data. Whereas for observing land subsidence using the PS InSAR method. For the growth of the residential area of Semarang, it will be focused on the land cover of residential areas in the 2014-2017 period. The overlapping method is used to correlate the effect of changes in KAD and PMT in Semarang City.PS InSAR processing results obtained an average value of average land subsidence per year with a range of 0 ± 3.4 cm to 4.5 ± 3.4 cm and the results of processing obtained the largest land subsidence information found in the District of North Semarang, East Semarang, West Semarang, Pedurungan and Genuk. The change in KAD in the amount of 60% to> a decrease of> 80% occurred in Genuk Sub-District, North Semarang, West Semarang, Pedurungan, Gayamsari. Whereas settlements with population levels based on land use classification maps for settlements are in Genuk, West Semarang, Gayamsari, Pedurungan, Tembalang, and Banyumanik Districts
