Abstract

This study suggests how to make an urban space is important for the establishment of identity and the character of the city. The large-scale land of the university campus has a unique open space from the history and geographical conditions.The conclusion of analysis on composition of open space by field works, and it confirmed by performing a space recognition experiment about the space consciousness is as follows:The university campus has typing of space composition which is different from a general city.Space frame of the university campus is made up of various symbolize spaces and space units.
