“…Rupe (1989) relatou danos por C. kikuchii em soja variando de 15% a 30%, mas, apesar desse valores, caso a incidência da doença ocorra no estágio de granação da soja, ela pode resultar em chochamento de até 50% no número total de vagens (CÂMARA, 1998). Além da redução na produção, C. kikuchii é um dos principais fungos que afetam a qualidade das sementes de soja (JORDAN et al, 1988).
