Sosialisasi Pedikulosis Pada Anak Di Yayasan Shohibul Al-Istiqomah, Cililitan, Jakarta Timur

Abstract

ABSTRAKData mengenai kejadian pedikulosis capitis masih kurang di Indonesia. Tercatat hasil survei penelitian sebelumnya yang dilakukan pada sebuah pesantren Muhammaddiyah di Surakarta ditemukan 72,1% terinfeksi pedikulosis. Faktor personal hygiene memiliki peranan yang besar terhadap kejadian pedikulosis capitis. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat sosialisasi kepada anak-anak panti asuhan mengenai penyebab, cara penularan dan bahaya akibat pedikulosis serta cara penanganan pedikulosis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan di yayasan shohibul al-istiqomah di mulai dengan sosialisasi, pengisian kuisioner untuk mengetahui penyebab, cara penularan dan bahaya akibat pedikulosis serta cara penanganan pedikulosis.Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat setelah dilakukan sosialisai terkait pedikulosis hasilnya 80% anak-anak memiliki pemahaman dan 20% belum memiliki pemahaman. Terkait pengobatan pedikulosis sudah 50% anak-anak mengetahui dan 50% belum mengetahui pengobatan pedikulosis.
