Sorting of growth hormone–erythropoietin fusion proteins in rat salivary glands

Abstract: Neuroendocrine and exocrine cells secrete proteins in either a constitutive manner or via the regulated secretory pathway (RSP), but the specific sorting mechanisms involved are not fully understood.
