Until now adsorption of some type of chlorophenols had been studied using coir pith carbon (Namasivayam and Kavitha 2003), modified activated carbon (Pakula et al 2005), euro-oils (Fingler et al 2004), iron oxides, titanium oxide and aluminum oxide (Bandara et al 2001), granular activated carbons (Jung et al 2001) and montmorillonite (Farkas and Dékány 2001) as an adsorbent. Pumice is relatively cheap than other adsorbents.…”
