Prenatal diagnosis of cleft lip and palate: Evaluation of the accuracy of obstetric ultrasonography depending on the cleft type

“…Benzer şekilde 39 izole damak yarıklı hastanın hiçbirine prenatal tanı konulamamış olup, bu hastalar hariç tutulduğunda prenatal tanıda başarı oranı geri kalan 102 hastada %43 olarak belirlenmiştir. Literatürde genel olarak izole damak yarığının tanı-sının oldukça güç olduğu vurgulanırken (27) , şaşırtıcı olarak iki boyutlu ultrasonografi ile %22 oranında izole damak yarığının isabetli tanısının konulduğu (28) ve üç boyutlu ultrasonografi ile %89 oranında başarılı tanı konulan seriler (29) de mevcuttur. Sonografik olarak damak yarığının tanısında kullanılabilecek birkaç bulgu, maksiller kesintinin gözlenmesi, polihidramniosla beraber küçük fetal mide, artmış fetal dil ekskürsiyonu ve fetal alveolar ridge genişliğinin ölçümü olarak belirlenmiştir (27,30) .…”
