An important problem for engineering practical applications is investigated: namely dynamics of the system by taking into account dissipative forces and with an aim that those steady state vibrations should be stable and single valued. This is achieved by choosing suitable parameters of the investigated system. Forced vibrations of vibro impact system with zero tightening with harmonic resonant excitation are investigated. Results for various typical parameters of the analysed system are presented. Dependence of characteristics of motion in steady state regime from the main parameters of the investigated system is investigated. The obtained results are useful in the process of design of vibro impact systems for use in technologies and machines of corresponding type.

A model having two degrees of freedom and incorporating a specific type of nonlinearity is proposed for the analysis of dynamics of a pipe robot. Specific type of nonlinearity has different values of viscous friction depending on the sign of velocity of the system. Numerical investigations for various parameters of the system are presented. Optimal frequency of excitation of a pipe robot is determined. The obtained results are used in the process of design of pipe robots: it is especially important to choose the frequency of excitation in order to ensure effective operation of a pipe robot.

Generators of mechanical vibrations with nonlinear stiffness of the elastic element in the conservative case are investigated. It is shown that the vibrator of this type generates several harmonic components and that the number of those multiple harmonics can be controlled. One period of motion is investigated. The presented analytical relationships and numerically obtained graphical relationships reveal the qualities of the system and enable to choose the desirable parameters of motions. The performed investigation of this system showed that eigenvibrations take place with linear spectrums when the system in separate intervals consists from two linear parts. This takes place in the case when the border of difference of coefficients of stiffness is located in the position of equilibrium of the system. In both intervals vibrations by separate partial frequencies take place and general motion depends on the eigenfrequency of the whole system. Of course the latter frequency depends on both partial frequencies. General motion of the whole system takes place according to the infinite linear spectrum of eigenfrequencies. All this enables to create enhanced vibrators by using those qualities and to use them in technologies.
