The Joule-Thomson expansion is studied for Reissner-Nordström-Anti-de Sitter black holes with cloud of strings and quintessence, as well as its thermodynamics. The cosmological constant is treated as thermodynamic pressure, whose conjugate variable is considered as the volume. The characteristics of the Joule-Thomson expansion are studied in four main aspects with the case of ω = −1 and ω = − 2 3 , including the Joule-Thomson coefficient, the inversion curves, the isenthalpic curves and the ratio between T min i and T c . The sign of the Joule-Thomson coefficient is possible for determining the occurrence of heating or cooling. The scattering point of the Joule-Thomson coefficient corresponds to the zero point of the Hawking temperature. Unlike the van der Waals fluids, the inversion curve is the dividing line between heating and cooling regions, above which the slope of the isenthalpic curve is positive and cooling occurs, and the cooling-heating critical point is more sensitive to Q. Concerning the ratio T min i Tc , we calculate it separately in the cases where only the cloud of strings, only quintessence and both are present.

In this work, we study the shadow and photon sphere of the black bole in clouds of strings and quintessence with static and infalling spherical accretions. We obtain the geodesics of the photons near a black hole with different impact parameters b. The string clouds model and quintessence influence the specific intensity by affecting the geodesic and the average radial position of photons.And the range of string clouds parameter a is constrained to ensure that the shadow can be observed. Moreover, we use a model of the photon emissivity j(ν e ) to get the specific intensities.The light sources in the accretion follow a normal distribution with an attenuation factor γ. The shadow with static spherical accretion is plotted. The apparent shape of the shadow is a perfect circle, and the value of γ affects the brightness of the photon sphere. We investigate the profile and specific intensity of the shadows with static and infalling spherical accretions respectively. The interior of the shadows with an infalling spherical accretion will be darker than that with the static spherical accretion, and the specific intensity with both static and infalling spherical accretion gradually converges.

We focus on the study of the exact solution corresponding to charged AdS black holes surrounded by quintessence with a cloud of strings present in higher dimensional spacetime. We then investigate its corresponding thermodynamic criticality in the extended phase space and show that the spacetime dimension has no effect on the existence of small/large phase transition for such black holes. The heat capacity is evaluated and the geothermodynamics of Quevedo analyzed for different spacetime dimensions with the cloud of strings and quintessence parameters. We calculate the critical exponents describing the behavior of relevant thermodynamic quantities near the critical point. Finally, we also discuss the uncharged case, show how it is sensitive to the quintessence and strings cloud parameters, and when the thermodynamic behavior of the uncharged black holes is similar to Van der Waals fluid.
