Some relationships of runoff to rainfall

Abstract: The writer submits some interesting relationships between runoff and rainfall that have come to attention in the course of studies pertaining to water‐supply for the Hartford (Connecticut) Metropolitan District. These as well seem generally applicable to similar phenomena in southern New England and perhaps in some other portions of the country.
