“…Viscose fibers (diameter = ∼19 μm; 5 denier) used in this study were obtained from Jilin Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., China. For hot-drawing treatment, a bundle of fibers (150D/30F; typical length of the fiber bundle, 60 cm) were stretched at 60 °C for 24 h with one side of the fiber bundle fixed and the other side dragged by a weight of 150 g. Optimum parameters were followed to enhance the structural orientation and maintain the elasticity of viscose fibers, and the drawing stress that we used here was just below the ultimate tensile stress of the viscose fibers. The temperature was controlled by an electrically heating air-blowing drier (BGZ-146, Shanghai Baosun Industrial Co., Ltd., China).…”
