Some prospects in the reseach of Microsporum canis (review)

Abstract: The significant growth and spread of dermatophytosis caused by Microsporum canis determine the interest to the research of this causative agent. The last time such technologies as metabolomics,transcriptomics and proteomics appeared to be effective. The role of zinc was examined. Zinc deficiency effect on gene expression, metabolism and pathogenicity of Microsporum canis. It was also proved that cyclic lipopeptides obtained from Bacillus subtilis inhibit the growth of cat’s Microsporum canis.
