Some higher ed staff must grapple with conflicting mandatory reporting requirements

Abstract: College campuses have faced a heightened sense of activism regarding sexual harassment and sexual violence during the past decade. Students, faculty, and staff members have brought a litany of lawsuits against colleges and universities alleging sexual assault on or near campus. These lawsuits often claim that the institutions failed to fulfill their Title IX reporting responsibilities. And others assert that their institution abused their authority by falsely accusing and punishing individuals under Title IX.
