A wide range of rather diverse appli cations including balanced modulators (18,20), parametric amplifiers (18,19), and paramétrons (14, 18,21) have been investigated but by far the most intensive work has gone into the use of such an element as a simple switching element in digital computer storage and logical systems. Memory applications are most numerous (l, 2,13,15,16,17), although promising applications to computer logic (7,9) have also been proposed.…”
