Somatic Implications in Hospitalized Patients with Chronic Schizophrenia

Abstract: Schizophrenic patients have a life expectancy shorter than that of the general population. The multisystemic implication of the psychotic disease is evidenced by the high prevalence of somatic comorbidities associated with the illness.
