Solution of Spinless Salpeter Equation with Generalized Hulthén Potential Using SUSYQM

Abstract: The solution of spinless Salpeter equation with generalized Hulthén potential using SUSYQM formalism is presented. We obtained approximately the energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave function in a closed form for any arbitrary l state. We have also reported on the numerical result of our work.

“…The spinless Salpeter equation is a generalization of the Schrödinger equation in the relativistic regime [1][2][3][4][5][6][7], and it has been used to describe quark-antiquark interaction [3]. The two body effects have to do with relativistic considerations, special relativity, energy shifts of resonances, scattering states, bound states, and even the disappearance of excited bound state.…”

“…Zarrinkamar et al [13] studied the two-body Salpeter equation with exponential potential using the SUSYQM method. Ikot et al [14] investigated the SSE with generalized Hulthen potential using also the SUSYQM approach. A special case of a multiparameter exponential-type potential is the Hylleraas potential.…”

“…The modified generalized Hulthen potential (MGHP) proposed in this work is defined as , ) ( α is the screening parameter, the Hulthen potential is a short-range potential in physics which behaves like a coulomb potential for a small values of r and decreases exponentially for a larger values of r [22,23]. This potential is very important in atom and molecular fields etc.…”
