Solubility, toxicity, and accumulation of metals from biotite schist rock in Danio rerio fish

Abstract: The objective of this work was to determine the solubility of biotite schist rock powder by different methods, as well as the potential toxicity/accumulation of its metals in Danio rerio freshwater fish. Solubility was tested in ultrapure water and in CaCl2 solution (10 mmol L-1). Metal contents were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy.
