Solubilities of 4-Amino-4′-nitrodiphenyl Sulfide in Six Organic Solvents from 287.45 K to 365.55 K

Abstract: The solubilities of 4-amino-4′-nitrodiphenyl sulfide in n-butanol, ethyl acetate, chlorobenzene, toluene, dichloromethane, and chloroform were determined between 287.45 K and 365.55 K (p = 0.1 MPa) using a laser monitoring dynamic technique and synthetic method. The solubilities determined were well-correlated with the modified Apelblat equation with the mean relative deviation (σ) no more than 1.27 % and the root-mean-square deviation (rmsd) no more than 0.07 %.

“…The solubilities of (+)-biotin intermediate lactone were determined by the synthetic method . The experimental apparatus is similar to the facility in the literature. , The existing apparatus mainly includes the weighing device, temperature control system, dissolving system, and detecting system. The laser monitoring system was used as the primary detecting system and was applied to the dissolving procedures of different solutes.…”

“…The procedure and method to measure the solubility data of biotin had been explained in detail by our co-workers in the literature. ,,, The laser method used has a definite close relation to some form of perhaps more frequently used turbidimetry. At first, a known mass of biotin was added into the vessel with a known mass of solvent at the desired temperature.…”
