“…The materials used in this work are shown in Table . CsCl and NaCl are dried to constant weight at T = 393.15 K. The phase equilibrium was attained by a semi-microphase equilibrium installation. The density ( d ) and refractive index ( n D ) were determined by a DMA 4500 (Anton Paar) vibrating tube densimeter and RXA 170 (Anton Paar) refractometer.…”

“…A series of solutions, including saturated and unsaturated solutions were prepared by using AL 204 analytical balance (Mettler Toledo, Switzerland) with an accuracy of ± 1 × 10 -4 g. The experimental apparatus is similar to the one we used previously. 20 The concentrations of the salts in the saturated solution were determined via the titration method by using mercury nitrate as titrant. The content of 1,2-propanediol was obtained using the oxidation process and K2Cr2O7 was used as oxidant.…”

“…13,14 Some of domestic group also made a detailed study of such systems. [15][16][17] In previous work, our research groups [18][19][20][21][22] have investigated the solubility of the ternary systems of rare alkali metal (Rb and Cs) salts in the mixed solvents of water and organic solvent. Moreover, the phase equilibria of the quaternary systems of two salts in the mixted solvents were studied.…”

“…For example, the solubilities of NaCl/KCl/LiCl/LiBr + CH 3 OH/C 2 H 5 OH/CH 3 COCH 3 + H 2 O , in the temperature range of 293.15–333.15 K were determined. The solubilities of MCl (M = Na, K, Rb, Cs) in ethylene glycol/glycerin + H 2 O at different temperatures were discussed based on the structure and properties of the organic solvent. For the inorganic salt–alcohol–water ternary system, the structure of alcohols has a great influence on the properties of the solution. The ternary systems of NaCl/KCl + butanols (1-butanol, 2-butanol, 2-methyl-1-propanol) + H 2 O at 298.15 K and NaCl + pentanols (1-pentanol, 2- pentanol, 3-pentanol) + H 2 O at 298.15 K were investigated to discuss the effect of the carbon chain on the phase behavior of the ternary systems.…”
