Likewise, the osteomas could arise from the dura, since the meninges, comprising pluripotent cells, may function as periosteum (1,(7)(8)(9)(10). Although the osteomas are attached to the outer layer of the dura, no dural cells are observed in the pathological examination of these tumors.…”
