Abstract: A detailed soil survey was undertaken in Tatrakallu village, Anantapuramu district of Andhra Pradesh to evaluate the suitability of soils for millets namely sorghum, pearl millet, fox tail millet and little millets. The soil belongs to Inceptisols, Entisols, Vertisols and Alfisols orders.
