Soft Switched Voltage Multiplier Cell based DC-DC Converter for Automotive Applications

Abstract: Original scientific paperSoft switched voltage multiplier cell (VMC) based DC-DC converter is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter provides the required high voltage gain without using a transformer. Thus, a compact converter with high power density is obtained. The proposed topology has higher efficiency due to soft switching of active device.
